# The Core Impact Initiative

The Core Impact Initiative is a program committed to supporting real-world projects that resonate with the vision of The Core. By allocating a portion of The Core's proceeds, we aim to make a tangible impact on our world through two primary objectives:

1. **Preserving nature and promoting the habitability of Earth**
2. **Encouraging the development of advanced space technologies**

As we venture into the cosmos and strive to become a multi-planet civilization, it's crucial not to forget our roots and our responsibility towards Earth. Our home planet provides the foundation for our existence and our expansion into the universe. By investing in projects that protect and nurture our planet, we ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.

With these goals in mind, the initiative will host open calls worldwide, inviting startups, local entrepreneurs, and visionaries to showcase their innovative projects. These projects will be presented to the community, who will then vote on allocating grants to the most promising and impactful ideas.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://fdrtn.gitbook.io/the-core-network/impact/the-core-impact-initiative.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
