# Resources

Resources in "The Core" are materials that can be generated in districts and used to construct buildings and machines, and to develop new technologies. These resources can include hydrogen, titanium, aluminum, silicon, carbon, rare earth elements, and helium-3. These resources have different properties and characteristics, and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as fuel, building materials, and advanced technology. Players need to extract resources by investing in the right districts and using the right technology. Players must balance their resources for the best outcome and to unlock new worlds, to explore and develop.
